Located 3 hours by TGV from Paris, the town of Evian-les-Bains is easily accessible with children. From the capital, we jump on a train at Lyon station on Friday after school, heading to Geneva. Thanks to the transfer organized by the hotel and then the meal offered in room service at 9 p.m., the children, already in their bathrobes, are delighted to start the weekend.
Surrounded by Lake Geneva and the mountains, the hotel offers breathtaking views of nature. The establishment’s park spread over 19 hectares, designed in harmony with the fauna (it is also a refuge of the League for the Protection of Birds), completes the picture.
Upon arrival, you are struck by the welcome, the patience of the staff and their kindness towards the children. Mélanie confides: “ I was dreading this family stay in a palace because I am always afraid of disturbing the other guests, but it was with great relief that I discovered that the place was “really” kids-friendly. The customer is king… but so is the child!»
All year round, Evian Resort puts children in the spotlight with numerous activities. “ The first day, we try the ride with donkeys at the foot of the mountains. During the one and a half hour walk, the professional who accompanies us is very attentive to the children. Greta and Gustav have a lot of energy, we sometimes have difficulty channeling it: the donkey ride with Marc was nevertheless a serene and very relaxing moment.»
The Spa is open to everyone, even children for their greatest happiness. What pride for them to go down to the heated outdoor swimming pool in their bathrobes! “ Sauna, hammam, whirlpool bath, cold bath, snow room, hydrocontact course… They have tested everything», laughs Mélanie.
However, quiet time is respected from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. so that adults can rest while children can benefit from the kids resort.
