To make the recipe for the original Döners sauce yourself, you only need a few ingredients that you all get in the supermarket.
- yogurt Forms the base of the kebab sauce recipe. Ideally, you use Turkish or Greek yogurt with 10% fat content.
- mayonnaise Makes the sauce even creamier. If you prefer an easier variant of the kebab sauce, just let it out.
- Garlic should not be missing in an original Turkish kebab sauce. You can also use our fully prepared garlic paste.
- Fresh Lemon juice With its light, fruity acidity, ensures the extra freshness kick.

Make your own kebabs yourself – it’s that easy
You have prepared the original Döners sauce in less than 5 minutes. You just have to press the garlic and stir thoroughly with the remaining ingredients, except for the herbs and the spices.
