Recently we already introduced you to five particularly beautiful road trip routes for exciting tours in the warm season, today we would like to devote ourselves a few cities in which we have experienced wonderful summer moments in recent years.

Ljubljana
The capital of Slovenia enchanted us in the summer of 2023 as part of our Slovenia road trip. Ljubljana is such a charming city with a pretty bank promenade, many galleries, a picturesque old town and an exciting gastro scene. Vienna
We are more than just a little in love with Vienna! Because the Austrian capital skilfully merges tradition and modernity like no other. All the beautiful buildings in baroque and art nouveau, the castles and the parks meet a pulsating city life with a lot of culture, international gastronomy and a large creative scene. Seville
Sevilla enchanted us with joie de vivre, good food, lots of culture and fascinating architecture. And at this point a tip: prefer to travel in spring or early summer than in real midsummer. Because then the thermometer is welcome to exceed 40 ° C.

Brix
The smallest city on this list is the third largest city of our beloved South Tyrol. Brixen is picturesquely located on the confluence of Eisack and Rienz, from the city center you can look at the peaks of the mountains.
