Knitted in Germany: headband, hat and scarf from merino wool

Hej Hej, dear ones! I can hardly believe that we have already arrived in November. October is always my favorite month and gave everything again with regard to the sunshine. In keeping with the cooler days that started now, I would like to introduce you to a heart project from me that I could realize loop catchers for my label. At the end of May I traveled to Apolda for a day to order our new knitted accessories – headband, hat and scarf – from merino wool from our knitting. We have had our Kashmirstola in cream and bridal stola in pink for a few years in our program and are among our absolute bestsellers.

Knitted in Germany

For a few years now, I have had our bridal stola from Kashmir knitting in cream and rosé for loops in Thuringia. With our Strick accessories from Italian merino wool (mulesing -free) in sage We have now dared something new. We spent a complete day in our knitting and tinkered together with the knitting on the design of our accessories.

After that it took another 4 months before I finally held the results of our collaboration in my hands! And I can tell you: You can see the attention to detail, our new loop catcher accessories, 100% made in Germany.

The extra -wheeled scarf made of merino wool (approx. 230 x 50 centimeters) can also be worn as a stole. But we have knit it a little narrower than our stolas so that it does not have too much volume if you wrap it around your neck twice. Whether laid around the shoulders, simply wrapped around the neck or wrapped as a modern Balaclava: With our merino mug in sage gray you have all the wearing variants.

By the way: the Italian, mulesing -free merino wool (Cashwool®) is very light and soft. As a result, the scarf falls beautiful and does not scratch at all, but nestles wonderfully.

Merino wool hat

There is also a lot of detailed work in our Merino wool hat. We wanted to make knitted tissue that shapes the hat in the upper area. It was not that easy to realize and cost our knitters a lot of effort, but the result was simply beautiful. I also like the twice knitted envelope with our loop-catcher label. It is particularly great that the upheaval is knitted, that is, it cannot slip.

Headband from merino wool

Our new knitting accessories are completed by our headband with knitted twist at the front. The headband makes a totally beautiful shape and adapts to different head shapes and hairstyles with the knitting. A dear customer with curls that it bought from us in the shop is wearing it like a hair band, which I also thought it was super nice.

The color: a gentle sage gray

For this first limited edition, we chose a gentle gray green tone that fits almost all jacket colors and many hair and skin colors. The color is really very tender and discreet with a small touch in the green. I prefer to combine my accessories to my leather jacket in mustard yellow and my winter coat in Camel. Maybe we dare again next year – then there will certainly be a limited edition in a different color. For the time being, there is only the gray green and only as long as the stock lasts.

Incidentally, the great photos were taken in September, at the end of our camper tour. I had taken the accessories on vacation and actually wanted to take photos of it in the mountains. Unfortunately we had a lot of bad luck with the weather and it rained almost all the time in Austria. On the last evening of our trip we stayed with land fun with the Miimino Lamas. This great construction car stood there and we had the most beautiful evening light. The dwarf also went on great. It was all perfect as if it hadn’t been else – and I finally got my photos!
