Everyday stress, negative news, fatigue and gray winter days without the sun all calls us out mentally from time to time. At the moment more than ever. As is well known, our hormones can affect our mood and ensure strong fluctuations. But the good news is: there are a few Mood booster that (even in winter) immediately make you in a better mood. 1. A walk in nature

No matter how bad the mood is: a walk in nature always helps. Of course, this is even more fun in sunshine, but even on a gray winter day it has such a positive impact on our mind when we go for an hour in nature.

2. Spontaneous cake dates with a dear friend

And with such a piece of good mood cake, calories don’t matter.

3. Read a few pages in an inspiring book

Incidentally, I always read a few pages in “Breakfast with Elephants” by Gesa Neitzel right after getting up (before I deal with a smartphone and co.

4. Embellish the apartment with fresh flowers

Buy a nice bouquet in the favorite flower shop and then decorate in the apartment = a good mood guarantee!

5. Turn up a favorite song very loudly … and also like to sing along.

6. Enjoy good food

I don’t have to explain this point in more detail, right?

7. Dance

We would also be directly at point 5. Just hide everything around you, listen to music loudly and dance through the apartment.

8. Make calls with a favorite person

… or even better: speak personally. But sometimes it just helps to speak to a heart on the phone for half an hour.

9. Spend time with (m) a dog

For me there is hardly anything nicer than a long walk with Fiete and Chris. And there is at least a moment every day when we laugh at home tears about the sweet behavior of our dog. 10. Sport (in the fresh air)

Sometimes it is so difficult to get up for an hour of sport, but the good feeling after that is always worth it. Only in recent years have I realized how incredibly important sport is not only for the body, but also for the head.
